7th Grade
The year I was in 7th grade, I was filled with apathy and performed very poorly in school. I even got an F in Bible (which I guess is better than getting an H). Up to that time, I had always gotten good grades, and for all the years after that I got good grades. In fact, I graduated cum laude from college in only 3-1/2 years so I wasn’t dumb or lazy. So what was up with 7th grade? I wish I knew. I now have an offspring who is in 7th grade. He is filled with apathy. He doesn’t have Bible class or else I’m sure he would be getting an F. I’ve tried all the things my parents tried which were futile for them and have proven to be the same for me. When I was in 7th grade, I was grounded the whole year. Maybe he’s just trying to keep up with his mom.
